The Whittier Art Gallery is non-profit community organization totally supported by its membership, whose dues, gifts and volunteer participation enable us to provide the following benefits:
- Maintain the gallery with free admission to the public
- Provide artists top quality, low cost exhibit space
- Provide opportunities for artists to exhibit work in various community venues
- Provide art classes to adults and children
- Fund scholarships to art students
- Produce Sketches, the bi-monthly association newsletter mailed to all members
- Host meetings that feature speakers, programs, and art demonstrations
- Provide space and encouragement for artists to meet and exchange ideas
